A message from Blue's Mom:
There was another sighting at Clyde road west of Hickory Ridge Road in Hartland Township.. it was just before midnight on March 7. The JRT that live at the home began to bark and when the owner looked out he saw a black and white husky near the house. The dog peed on his truck. when they opened the door he took off. They followed his tracks for a while he was heading west on Clyde road.
The man said he wasn't sure if it was Blue because he seemed smaller. Which reminds me to tell people that Blue is not a big dog: 22 inches tall and 50 pounds when he went missing.... I am sure he is less than 50 now.. it has been a tough winter..
Thanks so much I am keeping the faith,
Sharon

The effort to find Blue was written in the daily Press and Argus Newspaper on 12/23/07: Click here to see the article. (to see the whole article here just scroll down)
Also - we received this message about a possible sighting on Saturday night (12/22/07):
"I read the article in the paper today and I saw a dog last night matching the description of your dog. My wife and I were on our way into Howell and I stopped in the new Victory Lane oil change/car wash next to the Speedway on D-19/Michigan Avenue next to I-96. It was about 9:00pm. We were in the automatic car wash and when the wash ended the door opened and a large Husky walked in front of my car. The dog appeared to come from the East, which was an open field behind the local businesses. I started pulling out of the wash and the dog began to trot towards Michigan Avenue. I was concerned he was going to run into traffic, so I stopped the car and whistled at the dog. He stopped just short of Michgan Avenue and began walking towards me. He was a large dog, and I did not want to get to close to him so I got in the car and drove back towards him to get him to run away from the road. He headed back behind (East) the Victory Lane. I stopped again and got out of the car to see if there might have been an owner of the dog over at the Speedway, but there was not. Might be worth checking out the area. Good Luck."

I just wanted to send this out as a reminder to those of you who have kept your eyes open for Blue to please continue checking. It has been awhile since I've sent anything out regarding Blue and I just don't want you to forget, just in case Blue shows up in your facility. Many people have contributed to a donation fund for the reward. The number is quite high (well over $1000) and I don't know if this will help or not, but I did want to make people aware a large reward is being offered.
Thank you,
Anita

Soon it will be 6 months since I was HOME.
I never thought that night would lead to this. I just wanted to find my mom.
She had to leave in such a hurry and I could tell something wasn't right...
I just wanted to make sure she was ok. Something had happened to my grandpa and I wanted to be there with my mom.
I couldn't find her and now she can't find me ....why can't I find my way home.

I have been talking with Sharon Greene and we both feel that someone in the area has him and decided to keep him. He is really a nice boy. We feel if we can get reward high enough (no questions asked) and get the word out that they may decide to hand him over, or if he is living in the woods, we may get more people out looking for him hoping for a quick buck. His owner is offering a large cash reward although I am not certain of the actual amount.
